@manwolvesband are a 6 piece band I found through the Spotify tastebreakers playlist and HOLY FUCK, I've never heard such a good blend hip hop and jazz. This song, it's so smooth.
Kicking off the song is a sampled clip from a Gucci Mane interview "If a man does not have the sauce, then he is lost. But the same man can be lost in the sauce" The vocals in this band are so good, smooth, rhythmic and raspy when they need to be, I feel like as a band they have very good chemistry and that shows in their writing style.
This song just feels very organic, from all the little motifs, to the sound of the saxophone and the just everything like the bass tone is groovy as hell.
This song has been on repeat since the start of January. This style of jazz rap needs to break out more and these guys definitely deserve to blow up this year. Check out Manawolves. I promise you will not be disappointed.
