The amazingly creative Florida-born rapper Denzel Curry is set to cause a scene this year when he headlines Outbreak Festival. A playlist that’s mostly for hardcore bands and others close to those circles. However this year for the love of the culture it’s promoting a much more hip-hop influence as there’s been a crossover between rap music and hardcore. Still, nobody has really brought these together in a unified community, which is why I’m so excited to see Denzels Currys set.

Denzel Curry proves he’s able to muster up the ability to play to aggressive and energetic crowds. Denzel has recently released Live At Electric Lady (*Spotify exclusive) produced by
Powers Pleasant, Cold Blooded Sould Band and Denzel Curry. which is a live showcase of some of his latest tracks from his new album. With this though we received a brand new track in this live format titled Endtroduction and let me tell you this is exactly why it makes complete sense for Denzel Curry to be headlining Outbreak Festival.
Because Denzel Curry has that punk attitude, following him you’ll know he has immaculate covers of Rage Against The Machine & Bad Brains which completely set him apart to be the leader of the charge compared to other rappers. His music also covers themes of social justice, mental health, and personal struggles. If you even look back to his previous album Taboo you’ll see him break down his own demons aggressively.
Denzel Curry - Endtroduction Review Breakdown
Endtroduction by Denzel Curry has easily become one of my favourite tracks, both by the rapper and of all time. The track comes in with such gusto that’s popping from this constant riff that then gets backed up by saxophones and other horns that just garnish the track to a delicious melody and a head-bopping beat. This track is a chef's kiss from the master himself.
Endtroduction - Cold Blooded Soul Version opens up with Denzel asking ‘want me to start it off or you got it?’ that is sharply followed by this droning guitar riff that perfectly matches the beat before Denzel calls out to ‘Make it funky for me’ which sees the introduction of trumpets.
bellowing out in a jazz rhythm. This is all whilst the guitar and drums are maintaining that simple riff and beat that’s working in Denzels favour.
Denzel Curry Explores His Lyricism On Endtroduction (Cold Blood Soul Version)
After a couple of bars of these trumpets blasting this Denzel then jumps on the mic to give us some proper aggressive lyric: ‘Introducin' the motherfuckin' end, do anything to win, I see the. greed inside the hearts of men, Christian Dior can't cover sins of a sinner, Either feed your fuckin' dogs 'cause they gon' eat you for dinner.’ all whilst that guitar has now been turned into a more choppy version playing shorter and more muted notes on the attack with the drums supporting.
Denzel proves his aggressiveness again further on with the lyrics ‘Cut deep, my tongue sharp, that's two daggers, Earn plaques, there's two gold and one platinum, Money under the table, but when we talk masters’
Also his confidence in the lyrics motherfuckin' end, I'm here to melt your lens, Once you see your future, you will sin’ Denzel Curry has really come to hone his craft with this track and can’t wait to see him play to a hardcore crowd.
The energy and exploration on this track is so punk, it’s funky, it’s hard. You need to do yourself a favour and check this track out.
