Everytime I hear new music from @citizentheband , I’m instantly taken back to the feeling of listening to their debut album Youth for the first time.
Whilst they’ve come a long way from that album, some things have remained the same, clearly; the passion they have for this band is immense and they’ve been finetuning their song writing ever since.
Blue Monday is easily one of my favourite Citizen songs. A proper deep, smooth baselins is the guiding force with reverberated distorted vocals coming off like a speaker phone. It’s a groove and I love this band.
