Before going on hiatus, @BalanceandComposure gave us the album "The Light We Made", this album was pretty experimental in the sense, playing around with a new sound. Electronic drum kits, glitchy sounding vocals. Especially on this track.
For a Walk is by far the most experimental thing they've ever done, building tension with an oscillating synth, before moving forward with this groove of a bass line, fuzzed out and punchy complimenting the synth driven tone with some bleeding reverb on the vocals .
By the second half of the song we get this weird solo of the oscillating synth and over driven guitars, closing up the song with this droning outro bringing it to an abrupt end.
